About AMPS Caroona

Our Caroona Branch, or Waverley as the locals call it, is our flagship branch with the largest storage area and team in AMPS. 

The Caroona site offers a full agronomy, supply and delivery service, competitive pricing and an opportunity to engage with leading local research. With our prime mover, we can provide freight rates to move seed and fertiliser, help with the harvest, move gear and anything else truck-related. We can crack grain and do feed mixes.

Our AMPS Research team is also based at the Caroona branch and consists of seven staff members, led by Matt Gardner. 

This team manage over 15,000 winter crop trial plots and 4,000 summer crop trial plots across North-West NSW.

Our research is a unique and exciting part of AMPS, where we work closely with our growers to get local data and insights that can be used next year.

Meet Alex

Alex has worked at AMPS for the past six years and has led the Caroona team for the past year.
Growing up working on his grandparents' farm, Alex developed a strong practical understanding of agriculture from an early age. Alex enjoys building strong relationships with grocers and providing practical support across a range of agricultural inputs and services.
