AMPS History
Changing the way we farm Mission
AMPS were established in 1999 by 20 farmers who could see there was a lack of research into Australian agriculture and wanted to do something to change this.
AMPS started as a small merchandise business that grew rapidly due to it being the place to get great product at a fair price. The money from the merchandise business then fuelled the non-for-profit private research sector AMPS now so heavily prides itself on. Promoting independent research that is current and useful to the grower has always been at the forefront of our minds.
AMPS has grown over the years by showing their privately funded research projects are current and provide vital information to their members.
Slowly over the years AMPS has expanded from a small merchandise business supporting a non-for profit independent research department, to an end to end service for the grower.
